Rick Bolger

Specializes in history, with a particular interest in pop, top 40, and adult contemporary music of the 1940s-1970s.  As a student at Moravian College, music coursework included history of American popular song.  Rick is a graduate of Centenary College in NJ.  His professional experience covers advertising, public relations, magazine publishing, web development, and graphic design.  His writings on traditional pop have been quoted in a variety of books and publications, including America’s Songs II – Song from the 1890s to the Postwar Years by Michael Lasser, Let Me Clear My Throat by Elena Passarello, and Musicmakers of Network Radio: 24 Entertainers 1926-1962 by Jim Cox.
